Welcome to the Florida Hemophilia Association’s 8th Annual Walk in the Jungle! Much more than just a fundraising event, the Walk in the Jungle brings together individuals affected by bleeding disorders, their families, friends, supporters, and a diverse range of others who want to enjoy an amazing day at Jungle Island while supporting a worthy cause. It attracts people of every age and background, from parents with infants in tow to grandparents and everything in between. Remember, all registered walkers get to spend the entire day at Jungle Island for free!

The walk is FHA’s biggest fund-raiser of the year that supports a variety of educational programs, vital services and advocacy efforts that are central to FHA’s mission. To see just how much fun the walk is, click here: http://floridahemophilia.org/video-gallery/ to watch the video!

We’ve set our sights high to raise over $100,000 again, but we can’t do it without you! Create a team and have your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else you know help you not only raise funds but also raise awareness for hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.

On the day of the Walk, there will be food, refreshments, exhibits, and more. There will also be plenty of entertainment, including a photo booth, face painting, characters, DJ and more! And if you can’t make it to the Walk at Jungle Island on May 6, you can still support it by creating a virtual team! Please spread the word to support the important work that chapters like us and other chapters across the country do for those affected with a serious bleeding disorder!
