What is the Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference?
The Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference is a weekend retreat that services the community with the latest information, updates, and guidance on navigating life with a bleeding disorder. This annual conference is also a chance to meet, connect, and share with fellow members of the bleeding disorders community, make new friends, and reunite with old friends.

Friday, June 23 to Sunday, June 25, 2023.
What are the Check-In Hours on Friday, June 23?
The 2023 Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference Check-In is open during the following hours on Friday, June 23 for attendees to check in for the event. At FBDC Check-in, attendees receive conference materials, instructions, information about the hotel and surroundings.

Who can attend the Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference?
Everyone in the bleeding disorders community is welcome– patients of all ages, families, caretakers, healthcare providers, social workers, etc.
Where is the Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference taking place?
The 40th Annual Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference will take place in sunny and lively downtown West Palm Beach.

Directions:
- Via I-95: Take Exit 70 and head East on Okeechobee Blvd, the hotel will be on your left after the bridge.
- Via Florida’s Turnpike:
- If you are going North on the Turnpike, take Exit 97 and head East on Southern Blvd, merge onto Australian Avenue, drive until you see the hotel on your right.
- If you are going South on the Turnpike, take Exit 99 and head East on Okeechobee Blvd, the hotel will be on your left after the bridge.
How much does it cost to attend?
Florida Hemophilia Association institutes a $60 registration fee for its conferences. The registration fee covers up to 4 (four) family members per room. Additional hotel rooms needed to accommodate larger families are available upon Registration and require an additional $60 registration fee. Registration fees from conferences are utilized to support Florida Hemophilia Association’s mission of providing year-round programs and services to the bleeding disorders community.

How do I register?
FBDC invitations have been sent out to our bleeding disorder community via email.
Note: If you did not receive an email invitation, we may have outdated or no information on file for you. Please contact us here, call the office at 305.235.0717 or email info@floridahemophilia.org if you did not receive the email invitation.
To register:
- Complete 2023 FBDC Registration Forms for each attendee
- Choose method of Registration payment (electronic payment, check, money order)
- Electronic payment- Submit payment online and submit Registration Form(s)
- Check/Money Order payment- Submit printed Registration Form(s) and payment by U.S. Mail.

To send your registration fee via Electronic payment, please submit your payment through our Donation page, which uses PayPal to safely ensure the security of your information. Please be sure to add “2023 FBDC Registration for [Your Name]” in the Special Instructions to help us identify your contribution.
If you are submitting your forms and/or payment by U.S. Mail, please notify us by email or by calling our office at 305.235.0717 so that we can be on the lookout for your documentation and make sure your submission is accounted for.
When is the deadline to register for the conference?
The last day to register to attend this event is Friday, May 26, 2023.
Do I need to pay for the hotel room and meals?
No! Florida Hemophilia Association will book and cover the cost of hotel lodging and meals for attendees at the 40th Annual Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference. Mealtimes will be listed in the 2023 FBDC Event Program.
Are any sessions available in Spanish?
Yes. The 2023 FBDC Event Program will outline sessions available in Spanish or with translation services provided.
Can I access sessions virtually?
No, there is no virtual access to the 40th Annual Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference.
Can I show up to the conference and register on-site?
No- there is no on-site Registration for this event.
Registration Deadline: 5/26/2023.
All registration forms must be received by May 26, 2023 by e-mail, fax, or U. S. mail. If you will be attending and cannot submit your Registration Forms by the deadline, please call our office at 305.235.0717.
What if I have to cancel my attendance?
Emergencies happen- if you know that you need to cancel your attendance to the 2023 Florida Bleeding Disorders Conference, please notify us immediately by email or by calling our office at 305.235.0717.
Will you have a Sharps Container?
Yes- a Sharps Container will be available at a dedicated infusion area if you need a safe place to dispose of used needles.
